QuantumJoys Animal Assisted Inspiration work is best enhanced with your carefully considered metaphors. Before you arrive you will want to spend some time coming up with one or two personal themes to work with throughout the day.

The most satisfied participants are those that come with a topic close to their heart that they would like to create forward movement towards achieving or accomplishing positively.

Example:

So for example, a recent participant arrived newly diagnosed with an incurable auto-immune disorder. Some of the challenges she faces with this are the severely restricted diet, need for daily medication, the expense and the lack of vitality she feels. Some of the resources she says she has access to are support groups, friends, books and a high level of personal motivation to live the highest quality of life she can.

For one of the activities she chose the goal of “living the highest quality of life she can” and the horse represented the various means by which she will have to direct accomplishing her goal. Her resources were then put in play as she needed them to accomplish this goal.
